Announcement:

Seaton Terrace Surgery - proposed relocation

Seaton Terrace was part of Valens Medical Partnership and you will be aware that Valens joined Northumbria Primary Care (NPC) in January this year. NPC are building a new GP practice which will house Elsdon Avenue GP practice and we have the opportunity to move Seaton Terrace surgery into this new building.

The location of the new building will be on the land opposite the Lakes and Dales Co-op, on the corner of Blackhaugh Drive and the A192 as shown in the image below:

This proposed move will provide us with more clinical space, and an improved and modern environment. We believe this proposed change of location will improve both patient and staff experience and allow us the opportunity to increase our clinical capacity.

Work on the new building is expected to start in Summer 2024 and to be completed by Summer 2025. It is proposed that Seaton Terrace would move in at this time.

Patients will not have to do anything about this proposed move. All patients will remain registered with our practice. Our phone number, website and Anima access point will stay the same.
